Who we are

This website, elmachinpublishing.com, is run by Elmachin Publishing House LLC, an independent book publisher based in Gilbert, Arizona. Our imprints include Root Reflect Grow Press and Puffin Puzzle Press. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean Elmachin Publishing House LLC.

What we collect, and why

When you join an email list. Some pages have a signup form. If you fill it out, we collect your first name (optional) and your email address. We also note which form you used, so we know which book page you came from. We use this information only to send you emails about our books, such as new releases, free printables, and bonus pages.

Every signup is confirmed by email first ("double opt-in"). You aren't added to a list until you click the confirmation button, and every email we send has an unsubscribe link.

When you just visit. Like almost every website, our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. We don't use these logs to identify you.

When you email us. If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply.

Children and teens

We make books for kids and teens, and we take their privacy seriously.

• Our free downloads require no information. Answer keys and bonus levels can be downloaded with one tap. No name, no email, no sign-up.
• Puzzle and activity book email lists are for adults only. Signup forms on our children's activity book pages ask the person signing up to confirm they are a parent, guardian, or other adult.
• Teen email lists require age 14 or older. Signup forms on our teen book pages ask the person signing up to confirm they are 14 or older, or that a parent or guardian is signing up for them.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us their information, email us and we will delete it right away.

Who we share your information with

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run our email lists and website:

• Kit (kit.com), the email service that stores our subscriber lists and sends our emails. Kit handles your information under its own privacy policy.
• Our web host, which stores this website and its server logs.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies and outside services

We don't use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers. A few things to know:

• Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
• Amazon links. Our "Get it on Amazon" and "Leave a review" buttons take you to Amazon.com. Once you're there, Amazon's privacy policy applies.
• Site administration. WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the site. Regular visitors don't need to log in.

How long we keep your information

We keep your name and email for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, you stop receiving emails right away. If you'd like your information deleted completely, just ask.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email.
• Ask to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you by emailing us.

We'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor those requests too.

Keeping your information safe

We use reputable services and reasonable security measures to protect your information. No website or email service can be 100% secure, but we only collect what we need, which keeps the risk small.

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
